Facts about Returns:

• bookcircus.com is not responsible for merchandise lost or damaged in transit to our distribution center.
  
  
• Items purchased from bookcircus.com may be for a refund that is subject to a reimbursement which is less the cost of shipping and a 10% restocking fee for up to 30 days after the shipment date. Items received 31-60 days past shipment date will receive a refund less shipping and will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. Returns received thereafter will not receive a refund.
  
  
• Refunds will be posted to your account once the returned item(s) are received and processed in our warehouse. It typically takes between 2-10 business days for the financial institutions to process the transaction once we have authorized the credit. Refunds will be credited in the form of the original payment method.
  
  

Observe the following when returning items:

• Return items in the same condition in which they were received.
  
  
• Items that were shrink-wrapped when you received them cannot be returned if wrapping is broken, unless the item is defective.
  
  
• Used books are considered to be in good condition, even if they contain highlighting, marginal notes or other markings.
  
  
• If an item included a diskette package or CD-ROM, it must be returned unopened and not have broken seals.
  
  

Steps to returning items:

1. Log-in to your account on bookcircus.com, click on the "Return Items" link in the "My Account" section, and follow the instructions provided to complete the process.
   
   
2. Once you have completed the necessary steps, you will be asked to print out a shipping label and instructed how to physically return your items. 
   
   
3. Pack your items carefully and ship them to the address provided to you by customer service. We recommend you return items via UPS Ground or insured mail. We also suggest you keep a copy of the tracking number and shipping receipt.
